What Is Valorant?

What Is It? Valorant is a first person shooter where guns meet hypernatural powers in a 5v5 matchup. Each round you get one life and first to 13 rounds won is the overall winner of each match.
Agents: Before you enter your match, you'll enter Agent Select, where you gave the option to pick from a group of 26 agents that are divided on four different roles that are based on their functionality.
Rounds and Economy: You'll start a game as either an attacker of defender and switch sides after 12 rounds. Before each round, there's a buy period where you can buy items to prepare for the round. You will either try to plant spike and have it detonate, or you'll defuse the spike after its planted.
Weapons: When in doubt, try buying based on a weapon's type and base it on how it fits your play stlye and team's strategy. There are six different waepon types. There are sidearms, smgs, rifles, snipers, heavies, and shotguns. There is a total of 18 different guns.
Maps: There are currently 11 maps and each one is a different stage. You have the ability to be creative with skills and savvy gunplay to implement different strategies depending on the map. You may prefer playing certain ageants on certain maps more based on your playstle.
